[His hair's slicked back, too, and he's loosening a little bow tie with his other hand. Tugging at it with a little more force than strictly necessary.]

Exactly, um. Does anyone have any tips for how to... like, not go broke? How do people keep track of money? How do you not run out?

I plead lack of maturity, lack of understanding of the value of a... whatever the unit of currency is here, I don't even know.

And yeah, okay, if you all want a good laugh at my expense, my foster father is a billionaire, both through inheritance and being the CEO of a worldwide corporation. Go ahead, I've heard all the rich kid jokes and I don't really care, I'd just be grateful, in return, for a little--

[There's a voice yelling in the distance, something about not being paid to take breaks; Dick jumps up and shuts off the feed immediately. He does have a work ethic, okay, he was a circus performer until he was nine, but that money was all put in the bank.]

Nobody catches breaks here, only Pokemon!

The closest thing is some peeople have been here, gone home, and been here again. If they remember everything it makes it all a lot easier the second time around.

Are you say only Pokemon catch breaks or we only catch Pokemon?

That's kind of depressing. To leave and come back... It sounds a little painful, too, because it means you'll have to leave your Pokemon again.

I know, but it seems like that'd be harder for the Pokemon. You can't take them back, and that... [hits a little too close to home] doesn't appeal.

And your friends here too, you make connections and then they get severed. No matter where you are, you're away from someone who will miss you.

There's just no appealing way to solve this... You'll always leave people behind.

Sounds like a great metaphor for life, when you say it like that.

Where "great" means "depressing."

I guess the answer is just to do what you can, while you can, right?

Roses smell better because garbage is disgusting.

Best reason not to waste time on anything, except wasting it on everything important!

Still, you don't bring roses to a dump just to remind yourself of such.

But I hear you. Don't have regrets because you're busy making sure there's nothing left to regret.

Also if you only look at what you can't do and what you don't have.

You'll never realize what you can do or see what you do have!

Right, right.

And the monsters are a good thing to have, personally.
